No doctor's appointments today!
Nancy's college friends are coming over today, so I went out earlier to the grocery store and also got the car washed. It is a really nice day!
Teri, Georgia, Kathy, Laura and Patti all went to Eastern Illinois University with Nancy. They had a fantastic time with each other, studying and graduating, but also going out to the bars, enjoying life in the dorms and rental houses, making great memories. Plus, they've stayed in touch with each other through all this time. It's some of the greatest relationships I've ever had the chance of seeing close-up.
So most of the day was spent talking, laughing, having lunch, laughing, having a little wine and laughing some more. It was wonderful!
I realize that I have not posted anything from Frankie Yankovic ("The Polka King"). You may ask why I would post something from him, and you would be correct to ask that question. But my folks used to listen to him, and so I know (and like) the music.
