Served by voluptuous, Dirndl-clad lasses;

When the Cubs lose,
When my car breaks,
When I’m feeling sad
I simply remember my favourite things
And then I don’t feel so bad!
Why re-visited? Well, for a couple of reasons, but let me also indicate that I changed a line. Line two: "Dirndl-clad lasses" was a bit different last time. If you'd like to know why, read on!
First, I visited Munich this past September. I stayed in the Freisinger Hof, a very nice hotel, and one in which the staff wears the Dirndl, a traditional German dress. (Thus, the change in the line.) I also had some good German beer, in tall glasses, even!
Second, the Cubs lost again. 'Nuff said.
Third, "cute Kristin Chenoweth" is in a new show on ABC - Pushing Daisies.
All these things made me think of . . . my favourite things!
I should probably write a new verse or two, too . . .
