Ouch! The Dodgers wiped us out again! I'm not holding my breath for a miracle, either. When you've lived in Chicago your whole life, you've lived through a lot of disappointment.
I'm afraid it's just abuot time to stick a fork in us . . .we're almost through!

Aw shoot! I was pulling for the Cubbies (since my Mariners were as disgraceful and miserable as ever).
I think that the Cubs are America's team. Everyone loves them (not so the White Sox), and pulls for them, even if they have local loyalties.
Were you able to go to a Cub game while you werer in town? Wrigley Field is a great old park.
