A Rude Intrusion :: Day 30

This is my blog for day 30 of cancer treatment, Tuesday, 8 Aug 2017.

I woke around 7:30 AM today, having already awakened to visit the bathroom at 5:00 AM. I feel much better today, after getting fluids two days in a row, and watching my intake of water, as well, through the feeding tube. I'm also getting fluids at 3:00 PM today, after meeting with the PA at the oncologist's office.

Nausea returned this evening, even after taking my anti-nausea medicine, and I lost the little bit of scrambled egg I had already swallowed. And again late in the evening when I was brushing my teeth. The PA suggested I could use a different medication, one that is in liquid form and can be poured down the tube directly into my gut. I'm going to call about that tomorrow. I've got to get 'hold of this and stop it before I disappear, I'm getting so thin!

Again, thanks for the cards, instant messages and phone calls!
